Meeting at Commercial Hotel, Accrington, 25th October, 1890 Resolved that a North East Lancashire Cricket League be formed. Resolved: That the League consist of 13 clubs, viz. Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Bacup, Todmorden, East Lancashire, Enfield, Church, Haslingden, Ramsbottom, Lowerhouse, Accrington, Rawtenstall. The meeting next discussed various matters viz. Rules but nothing definite was arrived at and the meeting adjourned for 14 days. Resolved: That the Sec. meet in 1891 at Whalley on last Sat. in Sept at The Dog.
