Harry, who has a long association with the club in many capacities more recently as Ground Section Head" was elected President at the AGM in February. Harry's younger son Mark is a current lst )O player. Admission to the evening will be free with a raffle and 'Stand-up Bingo' supporting the retur:r of comedy vocalist 'Fizz-Eek' an act not to be missed. Results apd Fixtures The 2nd K progressed to ttre second round of the Junior Cup with a win over Colne. Damian Clarke took 5 wigikets and Ashley Amos and Mrk Demaine scored half centuries to e€m A visit to Ramsbottom on June 3rd. The 3rd XI are at home to Hussainia on Bank Holiday Monday, May 29th. Russell Edmonds has appeared in trial games for Lancashire under 19's in April. The junior tearns have now begun their fixtures. The under 11's and l3's play 8 a-side crickst. Players bat in pairs for 4 overs per pair. The batting side starts with 200 runs and flrns are added in the normal fashion. However for every wicket lost 8 runs are deducted from the total. All outfield players must bowl at least one over up to a maximum of four. Under l1 home games are on Monday evenings and Under 13's on Fridays. The under l5's play 11 a-side l6- 20 over games depending on conditions. Home games are on Wednesday's. Finance Members are reminded that any outstanding subscriptions @. The Club Lottery continues to glow and is now at 94 members, two of whom have just won a total of f,270. Alven Burrows will be pleased to receive any new members.
