Accringto n Cricket Club Newsletter February 1997 Orqanisation on the reve'1se side, is an organisational chart of the club, drawn by Michael wilson Nathan Astle The new professional's car will be sponsored by Greyhound Ford. Nathan is due to arrive in England on Aprit 16th. On Friday 18th April there will be a 'Meet the Pro Night' in the clubhouse. ln May, he will go on a shott visit to lndia with New Zealand. Sportsman's Dinner This will be held at St. Jose-ph's Hall on April 11th. Tickets are selling fast. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Mark Stevenson (01282 775127\ or any member of the Fund Raising Committee. See overleaf' Cricket frFa-re ueing held at Mount Carmel School on Thursday evenings for seniors, under the supervision of 1st Team Manager Graham Beech, and Friday ev-enings for Juniors. ln 1g97 the club will not run a 4th Xl. lnstead, we will field two 3rd Xl's. Souvenir Brochure The club plans to release isouvenir Brochure based on the cricketing activities and social events of our 150th year ii: April. Exhibition The display of photographs and memorabilia which was situated in the Town Hall over Christmas will appear at Howarth Art Ga'l\ery from March 8th until April 11th ffio,rgh o"ce aga'n p*rly supported in numbers, a total of t463.00 was raised. El0O.OO has been donated to Leukaemia Research.
