The Club Cricket Conference Yearbook 2020

- 110 - Club Cricket Centurions The following are known or strongly believed to have scored in excess of 100 centuries in club cricket. Joe Misso is alleged to have scored over 300 andwhilst this seems scarcely believeableeverybody I spoke to who knew Joe agreed it was entirely possible. The highest confirmed total is Len Newman’s 250 centuries and a photo can be found on the wall at Enfield CC of him leaving the field after scoring his final one. Conn Davies Len Newman’s opening partner at Alexandra Palace CC also took the small matter of 6,000+ wickets and is one of only 14 people in the history of cricket to have scored a century and taken all 10 wickets in the same match! There will certainly be more but these are the only ones I have been able to track down in the CCC area. 200+ 1. Joe Misso (Brentham) 310 (unconfirmed) 2.
