- 58 - CCC Annual Lunch 2020 The Annual Lunch was due to be held at Lord’s on November 30th as usual but it will not have escaped your attention that we have had a few problems in England of late and the decision has been taken to cancel the event for 2020. We are hoping to hold it on March 1st next year when it will still be known as the 2020 Lunch (if it’s good enough for the Tokyo Olympics, it’s good enough for us). We will be in touch with everybody as time goes by, hopefully with good news. In any event, the 2021 Lunch will be held at Lord’s on 29th November (fingers crossed) so book your places for both as soon as possible please. The good news is that the 2020 President, Roger Dakin, will also be President in 2021 – the only time in non-war years anybody has been elected for consecutive terms of office.
