Dunstall continued their race for the title as Matt Benstead and tom Suggate were the main contributors in a score of 144-6, which provide too much for Uttoxeter which lost by 88 runs. o U13 Division, Dunstall 94-5 (B Simpson 34*) beat Winshill 77-10 (B Simpson 3-4 including a hattrick, Rob Rouse 2-8) by 17 runs. Dunstall struggled against accurate bowling from Winshill, led by Scott Chilman before Simpson scored 34 to help the total to 94-5. Winshill made s steady start and were on course, until Simson again intervened and removed the last three batsmen with a hat-trick to give Dunstall a 17-run victory. • Reported August 10 th ??, 1998 o 30 th July: U15 Division, Fixture card shows scheduled match v Abbots Bromley Away – No further information o U13 Division • Reported August 17 th , 1998 o U13 Division, Dunstall 62-5 (Rouse 27*, Green 2-5) lost to Lullington Park 63-1 (Goodwin 27*, Green 22*). With this convincing victory, Lullington won the league. Dunstall slipped tto 14-4, before Rouse’s efforts enabled them to post a score of 62-5 from their permitted overs. Lullington began cautiously and there was an early wicket, but the rate accelerated and the target reached. Dunstall ended up in 4 th place in the Division.
