After early loss of Paul Shaw, the Benstead boys put on a partnership before James Benstead was out for 84. Stuart Eustace went quickly, this brought Nick Waler to the wicket who made 53 from only 21 balls and the innings closed with Matt Benstead on 92*. In reply the introduction of Alan Gough provided the turning point, picking up 6-19 in 7.5 overs.
