Subsequent to the agreement, there was to be a transfer of all assets (including the relationship with Holland Sports Club) into the enlarged Dunstall Cricket Club. To support this movement, the DCCL agreed that there would be four teams running under the Dunstall badge, with all registered BUNCC players transferring over to Dunstall under a special league sanctioned action. Overlaying the 2021 performances (of the then separate clubs) into this design meant potentially having two teams at Division 4 South ‘level’ which cannot happen. Hence the league proposed a ‘third’ Dunstall team be placed in Division 5 South, the ‘second’ team remaining in Division 4 South and the team that was to be designated as Dunstall 4 th XI in Division 8 South. As early season unfolded it was apparent that there were insufficient skilled resources in the combined and expanded club structure to support these four teams regularly. Hence the club committee made the decision to reduce down to three teams with the lowest team in the pyramid withdrawn. All games that had been played, by the lowest team were expunged from the records. All games played to this point in 2022 were designated Friendlies. This is how they are presented in this index and is consistent with the Play Cricket site records.
