Amendment proposed by S.Thompson, seconded by J.Bell ‘That Alf.Thompson be elected in place of F.Cundall, as a member of the committee’. Amendment carried. The minutes on the last meeting read passed and signed by the Chairman (W.Hill). The eleven selected by ballot to play against High Legh on Aug.7 th viz H.Dixon, S.Thompson, W.H Luckman, J.Manock, W.Arnold, W.Kay, A.Birch, J.R White, F.Hardy, R.Daniel, R.Rudman. Second Eleven selected by ballot to play against Flixton & Urmston 2 nd at Timperley on August 7 th viz Messrs Syers, Cundall, Collier, Whitfield, W.Owen (Timperley) A.Thompson, A.Birch, C.Ogden, E.Dowling, C.Davies, J.R Kelsall. Teams for Saturday next July 31 st & August 2 nd completed as far as possible. Ground committee appointed for August 2 nd . Messrs Dixon, White & Birch. August 4 th / 80. No Quorum.
