Statement was made by Hon. Secretary as to purchase of net (?) from the Chorlton West C.Club, also as to negotiation with Mr.Parbold for letting of field for grazing purposes. Purchase of net was sanctioned and Hon.Sec was instructed to make best arrangement he could with Mr.Parbold. Subscriptions received to present time handed to Hon.Treasurer. Proof of members match card examined and approved. Some discussion arose as to presenting best bowler during the season with a ball, but as it would involve more detail work in scoring book and as it is a difficulty to get ordinary scoring done, no resolution was passed, although it was admitted to be desirable to encourage bowling as well as batting.
