Proposed by Mr J.R White, seconded by A.Birch, that Chas Davis, The Vale Bowdon and Geo. Brooks The Downs, Bowdon be members of the club. Agreed. Proposed by W.H Luckman, seconded by J.R White that H.Dixon be appointed Hon Ground Steward for the season of 1880. The eleven for the Lymm Match selected. Mr W Dixon appointed captain of the Eleven against Lymm. W.J Towle appointed captain of the Eleven against ???? The Hon.Sec instructed to arrange 2 nd XI matches also to purchase spade and fork. Proposal for notice board to be placed at Altrincham Station deferred to next meeting. Messrs W.J Towle, J.R White and S.Thompson appointed Ground Committee for Saturday next April 17 th .
