33 (iii) In all Championship games, each team shall provide a competent scorer which will be recorded on the team sheet handed to the umpire before the game and on the Match Result Sheet verified by the umpires. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a 1 point deduction for each game without a scorer. 2.7 Notification of Results (i) It shall be the responsibility of the home club to send to the League Statistician on the prescribed form full details of each league and cup match, NOT including any cancelled matches, with the signatures of the officiating umpires where applicable. (ii) Result forms should be sent by first class post and by the earliest collection following a match. (iii) The home club shall also communicate the result to a notified telephone number by 10.00am the following day, except for a Sunday match or a Bank Holiday Monday match when the result shall be communicated by 11.00pm on the day of the match. (iv) Progressive fines, none exceeding £20.00, shall be imposed for non- compliance with any part of this rule. 3. RULES OF PLAY 3.1 Laws and Regulations (i) All matches shall be played under M.C.C. Laws except where otherwise stated in the League Rules; M.C.C. experimental laws will be implemented by the league in the same season that they are applicable. (ii) ECB recommendations and directives with respect to young players (a) Wearing helmets, (b) Fielding, (c) Fast Bowling, shall be implemented in full. The ECB Fast Bowling Directives are as follows and apply for the full season: Fast Bowling Match Directives for Season 2012 3.2 Preparation and Rolling of Wickets (i) Preparation of wickets must be in accordance with the M.C.C. Laws and Instructions. (ii) No rolling shall take place after the toss, except between innings, unless it be with the consent of both captains.
