i Foreword It is a great privilege for me - a mere spectator - to be invited to be first female President of the Bassetlaw & District Cricket League. I am already enjoying being a part of the League Management Committee - working with an enthusiastic and dedicated band of volunteers, who are trying hard to serve your and cricket's best interests. Having missed so many matches last season due to inclement weather, I'm sure you are all looking forward to a hot, dry summer with plenty of competitive games of cricket. I certainly am.
