84 (ii) A player with a Premier League Club shall not be eligible if he has played the majority of his Saturday cricket in that League during the current season. (iii) A player registered under Category 2 or Category 3 shall be eligible to play. (iv) Clubs playing ineligible or unregistered player(s) will be expelled from the competition and will incur a £10.00 fine for each ineligible or unregistered player. The match will be awarded to their opposition. In the event of both teams in a Cup match playing any ineligible or unregistered player(s), the matter will be referred to the EMC whom at their discretion will either order the game to be replayed, or order the result to stand. Any fines levied shall stand in any circumstance. 5 Matches (i) All matches shall be played on the appointed date, as arranged and published by the LMC. The home drawn club may surrender this advantage if it so wishes, subject to agreement by the opposing club. (ii) In the event of inclement weather where no match is possible, the match must be attempted on or before the following Sunday, except for the final, which must reach a conclusion on the scheduled date. In the event of a result still not having been reached, the winner of the match shall be decided upon the toss of a coin. (iii) A cancellation due to adverse playing conditions may be made by the home club ONLY WITH THE VERBAL AGREEMENT OF THE AWAY CLUB (email and text messages should not be used). (iv) The final will be played at a venue chosen by the LMC. 6 Match Results (i) The home club shall notify the result of the match in accordance with Rule 2.7. (ii) In the final, the winner shall be deemed as the home side. 7 Umpires (i) Neutral umpires, appointed by the Umpires Appointments Secretary will officiate in all matches. (ii) Umpires fees shall be in accordance with Rule 6.3 and the cost will be shared by the clubs concerned, except in the Final, when their fees become the responsibility of the LMC. (iii) The home club shall notify the Umpires Appointments Secretary of dates agreed to play re-scheduled matches.
