Bassetlaw and District Cricket League Official Handbook 2015

i  Foreword I first joined Killamarsh Juniors Cricket Club in May 1959 to play cricket in the  Bassetlaw League.  I must thank my club and the league for providing the opportunity,  of experiencing 56 years of pleasure by both playing and umpiring over that period of  time.  The honour and privilege of being asked to become League President in 2015 is  something I was thrilled to accept with a tremendous amount of pride on behalf of  myself, my club and my family after all these years of being involved with the  recreational game.  As your President this year, I will do my best to visit as many clubs as I possibly can.  I  also look forward to meeting the many cricketing friends I have made over the past  years.  Hopefully the kettle will be on as well.  My best wishes go to all club officials, players and umpires, hoping that you have a  good, successful and enjoyable cricket season.  Let’s hope for a long, dry summer!  Brian Rivington  President
