4 Constitution, Rules & Playing Conditions 39  2.6 Method of Scoring  (i)  A maximum of 20 points to be available to each team in all completed matches  divided up as follows:  a)  12 points for a win, 0 for a defeat.  b)  10 points for a draw for the side batting first and 2 points for the side  batting second.  c)  6 points to each side when the scores are equal, irrespective of the  number of wickets lost.  d)  1 bonus point to the batting side on reaching each of the following  scores:  140 runs, 160 runs, 180 runs, 200 runs (Championship), 120 runs,  140 runs, 160 runs, 180 runs (Division 1‐7).  e)  1 bonus point to the fielding side at the fall of each of the following  wickets:  3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th.  Maximum bonus points shall be awarded to the fielding side when the  batting side is all out, irrespective of the number of wickets to have  fallen.  f)  The side winning the match shall be awarded full bonus points,  irrespective of their innings total, it their opponents’ innings has been  closed by either dismissal or declaration.  (ii)  a)  Six points to each side when a match is cancelled, or is not completed  due to ground, whether or light conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.  b)  Bonus points will be awarded in all incomplete matches.  (iii) In all Championship games, each team shall provide a competent scorer which  will be recorded on the team sheet handed to the Umpire before the game.  Failure to comply with this rule will result in a 1‐point deduction for each game  without a scorer.  2.7 Notification of Results  It is the responsibility of both Captains to ensure that the home team has all  the information required in order to comply with this rule.  (i)  All results must be entered on to the BDCL ECB Play‐Cricket Website by  10.00am on the day following the match.  For games played on any other day, the home club shall enter the result on to  the BDCL ECB Play‐Cricket Website by 11.00pm on the day of the match.  (ii)  All scorecards must be entered on to the BDCL ECB Play‐Cricket Website within  48 hours of the completion of the match.  Scorecards are to be fully entered  with no errors (as shown with red text), to include all participating players and  the names of players involved with catches, stumping’s and run outs.  The  Captain and wicket‐keeper must also be listed correctly.
