4 Constitution, Rules & Playing Conditions 45  The calculations are shown as follows ( Championship /Division 1‐7):  Delay  (mins)  Overs Lost  Overs  Left  Overs  per Team  Time allowance  (length of innings)  0 6  0 2  98 /90 49 /45 2h 57m /2h 42m 12  0 4  96 /88  48 /44  2h 53m /2h 38m  18  0 6  94 /86  47 /43  2h 50m /2h 35m  24  0 8  92 /84  46 /42  2h 46m /2h 31m  30  10  90 /82  45 /41  2h 43m /2h 28m  36  12  88 /80  44 /40  2h 39m /2h 24m  42  14  86 /78  43 /39  2h 36m /2h 21m  48  16  84 /76  42 /38  2h 32m /2h 17m  54  18  82 /74  41 /37  2h 29m /2h 14m  60  20  80 /72  40 /36  2h 25m /2h 10m  The calculation of the time allowance with which to bowl the allocated overs is  based on one over for each 3½ minutes, rounded up to the nearest minute  where appropriate.  (ii)  If, after 1 hour has elapsed, or after the game has started, interference by  weather, light or unforeseen circumstances amounts to more than 30 minutes,  a time limit shall be applied from the time 5½ hours (Championship) or 5 hours  (Division 1‐7) after the scheduled start of play.  A match which is delayed for more than 1 hour after the scheduled start of play,  but is able to start before 1 hour and 30 minutes after the scheduled start of  play (1 hour and 50 minutes should an early tea be taken), will remain a reduced  overs game scheduled at 40 overs (Championship) or 36 overs (Division 1‐7) per  team.  The additional time lost (up to 30 minutes) will form part of the 30  minutes allowable before a time limit shall apply.  Should the interruption occur during the first innings, on resumption the  batting side will be entitled to bat for the maximum allotted overs as scheduled  at the start of play  (iii) When a time limit has been applied there shall, unless further interference  occurs or the match is completed, be one hour’s play or a minimum of 17 overs  bowled.  (iv) If further interference occurs by weather, light or unforeseen circumstances  when a time limit has been applied, or if time is lost during the last hour of play  causes a time limit to be applied, the number of overs to be bowled on any  resumption of play shall be reduced, from the total of 17, by one over for each  full 3½ minutes which have elapsed after the scheduled commencement of the  last hour.
