70 7.4.3 DISCIPLINARY HEARING (i) The Chairman of the Disciplinary Sub‐Committee shall convene a hearing as soon as practicable and in any event within 21 days of the decision to refer. Any adjournments may be granted at the discretion of the Chairman of the Disciplinary Sub‐Committee. (ii) In any case which is referred for a Disciplinary Hearing, at least seven days’ notice in writing of the hearing and of the offence(s) alleged shall be given to the player, or in the case of a club, its Secretary. (iii) The player and Captain shall be required to attend the hearing (in the case of a club by its Secretary or other official). In addition, the player can be supported by a club colleague and to call witnesses. (iv) The hearing shall be conducted by the Disciplinary Sub‐Committee of the League which shall consist of not less than three persons. 7.4.4 PENALTIES (i) If at the hearing of the Disciplinary Sub‐Committee finds the alleged offence proved it shall have the power to impose one or more of the following penalties: In the case of a player: a) To require the player to submit appropriate letter(s) of apology within a specified time. b) To record or reprimand and to give a warning as to the future conduct in the case of a first offence. c) To impose a fine not exceeding £50.00. d) To suspend the player for one or more matches, or for a stated period of time. e) To deduct League points from the player’s team. f) To expel the player from the League In the case of a club: a) To require the club to submit appropriate letter(s) of apology within a specified time. b) To record a reprimand and to give a warning as to future conduct in the case of a first offence. c) To impose a fine not exceeding £200.00. d) To deduct League points from the club’s team(s). e) To relegate the club from any competition of the League. f) To expel the club from the League.
