86  When such interruption prevents a minimum of 10 overs being bowled by the  scheduled time for the cessation of the second innings, the hours of play shall,  subject to the prevailing ground, weather or light conditions, be extended until  10 overs have been bowled.  (ii)  If a match is interrupted during the second innings, and unless a result is  achieved earlier, the innings shall end 1 hour 15 minutes after the start of the  innings, or on completion of the over in progress at that time.  When such interruption prevents a minimum of 10 overs being bowled in the  second innings by the scheduled time for the cessation of the second innings,  the hours of play shall, subject to the prevailing ground, weather or light  conditions, be extended until 10 overs have been bowled, or a result has been  achieved.  (iii) The calculation of the adjusted number of overs and the time remaining is  calculated using the following formulas:  Overs Remaining  = [A] – Overs already bowled  Time Remaining  = [B] – Time on field of play  Using the following table as guidance:  Time lost  (minutes)  Overs  Lost  Total Overs  (new allocation) [A]  Time allowed  (length of innings) [B]  0 3.5  0 1 19 1h 12m 0 7 .0 0 2  18  1h 08m  10.5  0 3  17  1h 05m  14 .0 0 4  16  1h 01m  17.5  0 5  15  0h 58m  21 .0 0 6  14  0h 54m  24.5  0 7  13  0h 51m  28 .0 0 8  12  0h 47m  31.5  0 9  11  0h 44m  35‐45  10  10  0h 40m  90+  Match Abandoned – No Result  Competition Rule 8.2(iv) will apply.  (iv) Should it be deemed that there is no longer the opportunity for the side batting  second to face the minimum of 10 overs required in order of achieving a result,  the match should be abandoned.  On Finals Day, Competition Rule 8.5(vi) will apply.
