4 Constitution, Rules & Playing Conditions 33 1.5.8 Honoraria, if any, to be paid to any individuals shall be agreed annually by the LMC. 1.5.9 Any collection, raffle etc. will be the sole concern of the club staging the match. 1.6 Officers 1.6.1 The officers of the League shall consist of The President, Vice‐President, Chairman, League Secretary, Treasurer, Fixture Secretary, League Statistician, League Welfare Officer, Player Registrar, Press/Advertising Officer and the Umpires Appointment Secretary, all of whom, with the exception of the President and Vice‐President, shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting. 1.6.2 The President and Vice‐President shall be elected by the LMC and during the year of office and for one year thereafter shall be entitled to serve on the LMC. 1.6.3 Life Members and Life Vice‐Presidents may be elected by the LMC in recognition of past services to the League, the former being entitled to attend meetings of the LMC. 1.6.4 A Handbook Editor, an Independent Examiner and a Lead Sponsorship Officer shall be appointed by the LMC from its own elected members or by co‐opting non‐voting officers. 1.7 General Meetings 1.7.1 The Annual General Meeting shall be held in November each year. 1.7.2 Nominations of officers and members of the LMC must be received by the League Secretary not later than 42 clear days previous to the date of the Annual General Meeting. If the number of nominations makes it necessary, the election of such officers and members shall be by ballot at the Annual General Meeting. 1.7.3 Proposals for alterations to these rules to be considered at the Annual General Meeting must be received by the League Secretary not later than 42 clear days previous to the date of the Annual General Meeting. Proposals for such alterations may also be made by the LMC and the BDUA. 1.7.4 Ten clear days’ notice of the Annual General Meeting, which will include nominations of officers and members of the LMC and proposals for alterations to these rules, shall be forwarded to each club. 1.7.5 Not more than two representatives of each Member Club shall attend the Annual General Meeting, only one of whom shall be entitled to vote on all issues generally transacted at such a meeting. 1.7.6 The President, or Immediate Past President, or if both these officers shall be absent, a deputy appointed by the meeting shall preside, and shall have a casting vote.
