60  any of the clubs other teams.  The same applies to players that have only  appeared for both a clubs 1st/2nd XI as they would be ineligible for a  clubs 3rd XI.  5.3.4.4  Under this part of the rule, where a player has played for a clubs 1st and  2nd XI they are eligible to continue to play for both the 1st and 2nd XI.   Where a player has played for all a club’s teams, the player would be  eligible to play for any team, so as long as they do not go from 1st to 3rd  team (would have to go 1st to 2nd to 3rd).  5.3.5 Any such breach will result in the player(s) being deemed as ineligible and the  sanction as advised under Rule 5.6.2 will apply.  5.4  Movement  5.4.1 Category 2 and Category 3 players may not play for more than one BDCL club  in a season.  5.4.2 No player may play for a club if they have already played Saturday cricket for,  or are registered with, another Saturday club, either inside or outside the  BDCL, unless application is made to the Player Registrar via the BDCL ECB Play‐ Cricket Registration System for a transfer., unless the player holds a dual  registration.  The application must be accompanied by written evidence from the player’s  previous club that there are no outstanding financial issues and/or any  disciplinary matters.  Players will be transferred by the Player Registrar on receipt of such written  confirmation.  Neither club needs to remove or submit a registration.  5.4.3 A transfer from a club within the BDCL must not be unreasonably withheld or  the request will be dealt with by the LMC.  A club approached by, or seeking to approach, a member of another club to  move or transfer, must notify the player’s present club prior to entering into  any negotiations with the player concerned.  Failure by a club to comply with  either will result in a ban on registering any new players other than graduates  from its own youth system, the length of ban to be decided by the LMC.  It is to be expected that such transfers are completed within 7 days out of  season and 24 hours in season.  5.4.4 No player who has played Saturday cricket for another club, either inside or  outside the BDCL, is permitted to play for a club in the BDCL after the third  Saturday in August unless a transfer is registered on or before the third  Saturday in July.  This rule does not apply if the club that the player is registered to has fully  withdrawn from the BDCL during the course of the season.
