93 5 The John J. Mallen t20 Trophy 8.5.2 When both sides have had the opportunity of batting for the same agreed number of overs, the team scoring the higher number of runs shall be the winner. If the scores are equal, the result shall be determined by the following criteria, taken in order: 8.5.2.1 A bowl out (should prevailing ground, weather and light conditions allow). 8.5.2.2 The toss of a coin. 8.5.3 If the team batting second has not had the opportunity to complete the agreed number of overs, and has neither been all out, not has passed its opponent’s score, the result shall be determined by the following criteria, taken in order: 8.5.3.1 A bowl out (should prevailing ground, weather and light conditions allow). 8.5.3.2 The toss of a coin. 8.5.4 If no match is possible, the result shall be determined by the following criteria, taken in order: 8.5.4.1 A bowl out (should prevailing ground, weather and light conditions allow). 8.5.4.2 The toss of a coin. 8.5.5 On Finals Day, in the event of no result being obtained and where there is no reserve date on which to play the game (in accordance with Competition Rule 5.6), the result shall be made by the following criteria, taken in order: 8.5.5.1 A bowl out (should prevailing ground, weather and light conditions allow). 8.5.5.2 The toss of a coin, when both Captains are present. 8.5.5.3 The toss of a coin, by the League Secretary (should both Captains not be present).
