34 2.7.2 All scorecards and match team cards must be entered on to the BDCL ECB Play‐Cricket Website within 48 hours of the completion of the match. Scorecards are to be fully entered with no errors (as shown with red text), to include all participating players and the names of players involved with catches, stumpings and run outs. The Captain and wicket‐keeper must also be listed correctly. The names of all umpires and scorers (whether official or club supplied) are to be added to the summary page so that they appear on the scorecard. The Match team card must be uploaded via the ‘Edit Report’ button as displayed in the results section of the Club ECB Play‐Cricket site. Any problems relating to the submission of a result or scorecard should be communicated to the League Secretary (preferably via email), in the first instance for investigation. 2.7.3 The home side has the full responsibility for the submission and correctness of the result and scorecard. The home side has the full responsibility for the uploading of the match team card. Both sides have the responsibility for the correctness of the match team card. 2.7.4 Details on completing Online Scorecards can be found under Rule 8.7. Details on uploading the Match Team Card can be found under Rule 8.8. 2.7.5 Non‐compliance with any part of this rule will face a sanction as determined by the LMC. 3 Playing Conditions Players and Officials are not permitted to smoke or vape on the field of play whist a match is in progress. 3.1 Laws and Regulations 3.1.1 All matches shall be played under MCC Laws except where otherwise stated. MCC experimental laws will be implemented by the league in the same season that they are applicable. 3.1.2 ECB recommendations and directives with respect to young players a) Fast Bowling, b) Wearing of Helmets and c) Fielding, shall be implemented in full. Any player under the age of 18 shall be bound by the ECB Directives. These can be found at www.ecb.co.uk/governance/regulations/non‐ first‐class‐ regulations. Age Groups are based on the age of the player at midnight on 31 August in the year preceding the current season.
