4 Constitution, Rules & Playing Conditions 39  (Division 1‐7) per team.  The additional time lost (up to 30 minutes) will form  part of the 30 minutes allowable before a time limit shall apply.  Should the interruption occur during the first innings, on resumption the  batting side will be entitled to bat for the maximum allotted overs as  scheduled at the start of play  3.4.7 When a time limit has been applied there shall, unless further interference  occurs or the match is completed, be one hour’s play or a minimum of 17 overs  bowled.  3.4.8 If further interference occurs by weather, light or unforeseen circumstances  when a time limit has been applied, or if time is lost during the last hour of  play causes a time limit to be applied, the number of overs to be bowled on  any resumption of play shall be reduced, from the total of 17, by one over for  each full 3½ minutes which have elapsed after the scheduled commencement  of the last hour.  During the last hour, the number of overs bowled prior to any interruption is  not taken into consideration when working out the number of overs  remaining.  The calculation of the number of overs remaining is determined  using the following table:  Minutes remaining at  the resumption of play Overs  remaining Minutes remaining at  the resumption of play Overs  remaining  60  ‐ 56½ 17 28½ ‐ 25  8  56½ ‐ 53  16   25  ‐ 21½  7   53  ‐ 49½  15   21½ ‐ 18  6   49½ ‐ 46  14   18  ‐ 14½  5   46  ‐ 42½  13   14½ ‐ 11  4   42½ ‐ 39  12   11  ‐  0 7½  3   39  ‐ 35½  11  0 7½ ‐  0 4  2   35½ ‐ 32  10  0 4  ‐  00 ½  1   32  ‐ 28½  0 9  00 ½ ‐  0 0  0  During the last hour, on resumption of play, any part overs count as a whole  over.  For example, if there are 8 minutes of playing time remaining and the  bowler has 3 balls remaining of their current over.  The minimum number of  overs to be bowled will be 2.3 (and not 3).  3.5  Overs per Bowler  3.5.1 No bowler shall bowl more than a maximum of  12 overs (Championship) , or  10 overs (Division 1‐7).
