Presidents Message i Presidents Message When we were invited to become Presidents of the Bassetlaw League for 2022, we were both surprised and privileged to be offered such a position. It is an honour for both us and a small village club East Drayton Sports Club. We have been involved with our club ever since it was reformed in 1991 and it has been a huge part of our life. We love cricket in all its forms and all the highs and lows it takes you through. We have met with some lovely people and made some lasting friendships which we hope we will continue to do. We intend to follow our predecessors and visit as many clubs as we can during the season. We will be strangers to many of you so if an unknown couple arrive at your ground one Saturday afternoon it is likely to be us proudly bearing our chain of office.
