Section B P a g e | 36 17 Notification of Results Should a fixture be played at a neutral venue, the winners of the match will be deemed the home side. It is the responsibility of both Captains to ensure that the home team has all the information required to comply with this rule. 17.1 The Home team must record the full result on Play-Cricket on the day of the match. The result must contain all the information required as per the Result Summary Page, i.e., Result, Won Toss, Team Batted First, 1 st Inning’s Score, Wickets, and Overs, 2 nd Inning’s Score, Wickets, and overs, plus changes to Revised or Scheduled Overs. The home team has the full responsibility for the submission and correctness of the result. Home teams failing to comply with this rule may receive a sanction as determined by the League Management Committee Sanctions Sub-Committee. 17.2 The home teams must submit a photograph of the Match team card, via email, to the Match Administrator within 48 hours of the match. Home teams failing to comply with this rule may receive a sanction as determined by the League Management Committee Sanctions Sub-Committee. 17.3 The home team shall be responsible for the submission and confirmation of the full and complete scorecard on Play-Cricket within 48 hours of the completion of the match (midnight on Monday for a Saturday fixture). Scorecards must contain no errors, i.e., to include all participating players in batting order and the names of players involved with catches, stumpings and run outs. The captain and the wicketkeeper must also be listed. The home team should ensure that all the details to ensure the validity of the submission of the scorecards is received from the away team. The away team should ensure all the required details to ensure the validity of the submission of the scorecard is provided to the home team. Home teams failing to comply with this rule may receive a sanction as determined by the League Management Committee Sanctions Sub-Committee. 17.4 The away team shall check and confirm all match details on Play-Cricket within a further 24 hours (midnight on Tuesday for a Saturday Fixture). Away teams failing to comply with this rule may receive a sanction as determined by the League Management Committee Sanctions Sub-Committee.
