bottom of the First Division shall be relegated to the Second Division and the two Clubs finishing first and second of that Division shall be promoted to the First Division. No club may be promoted to Division One of the League without Clubmark accreditation. The two Clubs finishing bottom of the Second Division shall be relegated to the Third Division and the two Clubs finishing first and second of that Division shall be promoted to the Second Division. The two Clubs finishing bottom of the Third Division shall be relegated to the Fourth Division and the two Clubs finishing first and second in that Division shall be promoted to the Third Division. The two Clubs finishing bottom of the Fourth Division shall be relegated to the Fifth Division and the two Clubs finishing first and second in that Division shall be promoted to Division 4. Provided that promotion to any League in accordance with these provisions shall be subject to that League’s ground criteria in force at the relevant time being met and if they are not met or if for any other reason promotion to or relegation from other Leagues shall not prove possible in any season the Executive Committee, may make such other arrangements in relation to these matters as shall be deemed appropriate. 2nd XI – At the conclusion of each season the Clubs finishing first and second respectively in Division A shall be promoted to the Cheshire County Cricket League (2nd XI) and the two Clubs finishing bottom of that Division shall be relegated to Division A of the UKFast League. The two clubs finishing bottom of Division A shall be relegated to Division B West or Division B East (Depending on geographical location. Some adjustment of these Divisions may be required to keep the regionalisation). The winners of Divisions B East and West shall be promoted to Division A. Three teams from Division B East and West shall be relegated to Divisions C West/Central South/East North. The top two teams from Division C West/ Central South/East North will be promoted to Division B, with adjustments made to best observe regional divisions 27. In the event of sides finishing equal on points in the League Championships (all Divisions) preference in respect of promotion or relegation will be given to the side(s) gaining most wins in the relevant Championship, then if still equal the side(s) suffering fewest defeats, then if still equal the points gained in the matches between the sides in the relevant championship shall be taken into consideration. If the sides are still equal lots shall be drawn to determine which team plays in the higher division the following season. 28. Matches scheduled for August in the lowest level of 2nd XI cricket can be re-arranged to any date and time providing that both teams provide written agreement to the Fixture ands Secretary 14 clear days before the original date of the match. The match can be re-arranged once only and if the re-arranged match is cancelled, or not completed it cannot be replayed, even on the original date. Matches can be played at any time, evenings or weekends and in any format, 80/90 overs draw or as a T20 match. 95
