Cheshire Cricket League Match Rules 1st & 2nd XI Divisional League Championship 22. Competing Clubs should appoint their own scorer for each Championship Match. All 1st XI Division 1 teams are required to provide a scorer for all League Championship matches. Failure to do so will in a fine of £25.00. On the 3rd transgression, and each subsequent transgression, the team will additionally incur a 5 point deduction. The scorer shall not be a player and shall be in post for a majority of the match. Failure to provide a scorer shall be reported on the sheet by the umpires. 23. Home clubs must accurately enter scorecard details on the Play-Cricket.com website. 1st XI data must be entered in summary (scores, wickets and overs) by 10pm on the day of the match. The full scorecard must be entered within 48 hours i.e. by 10pm on Monday night following each Saturday fixture. 2nd XI data must be entered in summary (scores, wickets and overs) by 10pm the day following the match i.e. by 10pm Sunday night. The full scorecard must be entered within 96 hours i.e. 10pm Wednesday night following each Saturday fixture. Failure to input results and full scorecards within the required timeframes will incur a 2-point fine. For the first 2 offences of the season, the deduction will be suspended and notice given to the team. On the third occurrence, the team will incur a 6-point deduction, with a further 2-point deduction for each further instance of non-compliance that season. 89
