Cricket this year could be very exciting. The visit of the West lndies is the highlight. Most of their players are familiar with the atmosphere of Saturday afternoon cricket and this experience seems to be introduced when playing for their ·country. The prospects are certainly bright. Congratulations to the Lincolnshire County Cricket Club. All will look forward with high hopes to their first encounter in the Gillette Cup Compet– ition. To all who take part in cricket, a happy and entertaining season. 8 H.E. PASK. ( President) .
