In the event of the team batt– ing first being all out or declaring before the expiration of their allotted overs, the batting time of their opponents shall be increased by the number of complete overs unused by the opposition, Should the team batting second be not all out when time is called the result shall be a draw. lnalldivisions in case of rain, stumps shall not be drawn before 6,00 p. m. without the consent of both Captains. The tea interval shall be one of20 minutes. The interval between innings shall be of 10 minutes durat– ion as provided by M.C.C, Rules but under no circumstances shall the 30 minutes be taken an any one time. Umpires must report to the Hon. Secretary any Club not ready to commence at the appointed time, Offending Clubs are liable to a fine not exceeding 10/-. Matches in Mid Week Divisions shall not start later that 6.15 p. m. The Captains shall decide before the match whether the minimum number of 20 completed overs or the maximum of 25 completed overs shall be bowled. Mid Week matches, the Captain winning the toss at the first meeting shall have the option to:- (a ) Deciding to bat or field first in that game, (b) Reserving the right of choice for the second game. 16. PLAYERS CROSSING, The outgoing batsman must meet the ingoing batsman outside the pavilion. Umpires must report any flagrant breach of this rule, 17. MATCH BALLS. That each fielding side shall provide its own ball. It shall not be compulsory to provide a new ball but the ball provided must be l eather covered and approved as fit for play by the Umpires and must be in their possession before the fielding side takes the field, 18. MATCH RESULTS. The Secretary of the Home Club must advise the Secretary of the League the result of each match (whether cancelled or not) on the Official Form provided, not later than 48 hours following the match. A fine of 10/ - will be imposed for ncp-compliance with this rule. 19. UMPIRES. Neutral Umpires shall officiate in all Senior Division Matches. Each Club with a team in other Divisions shall whenever possible nominate one or more approved Umpires to officiate in its own Club matches. 20. PAYMENT OF UMPIRES, TheUmpires 1 Feesshall be 10/- in the First and Second Divisions of the League and 7/6d. in all other Divisions of the League, plus any expenses incurred. This to be shared by both Clubs equally. lfa match has been cancelled but the Umpires have not been in– formed of such cancellation and they report to the ground to officiate at the match, the Umpire shall be paid 5/ - in the First and Second Divisions and 4 / - in all other Divisions, plus any expenses incurred. 21. UMPIRES UNABLE TO TAKE APPOINTMENTS. Should any Umpire be unable to take any appointments, he must notify the Hon. Secretary of the Umpires Association who will arrange a substitute from the League's list of official Umpires. 22. UMPIRES ASSOCIATION. The Umpires Association shall be an in– tegral part of the League and subject to its rules and requirements. 23. COMPLAINTS, In the event of any complaint being made against a Club, the Hon. Secretary should acquaint the offending Club of the exact nature of the complaint at least seven days before the League Meeting at which such complaint should come up for consideration. A Club shall not be called upon to answer any complaint at a League Meeting unless it has received seven days notice as above. The complaint must be made in writing and accompanied by a Fee of 10/6d. The Fee will be forfeited if the Committee consider t h e compl aint or appeal frivolous and refunded if considered reasonable.
