LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET LEAGUE 1, NAME, The League shall be known as "The Lincolnshire County Cricket League", 2. OFFICIALS, The Officers shall consist of a President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary, These shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting. 3. COMMITTEE, The Committee t o transact the business of the League shall consist of the Officers of the League together with one representative from each Club constituting the League whose nomination shall be forward– ed by each Club to the League Secretary prior to the Annual General Meeting for confirmation at that meeting. In the event of the nominated represent>1.tive not being available a deputy may be appointed, Six representatives shall form a quorum, 4. COMMITTEE MEETINGS, The Committee shall meet at any time as the business of the League may require. Seven days notice of all meetings shall be sent by post to all Officers and Club Representatives. 5, ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, The Annual General Meeting shall be held before the 31st January each year. The business shall be to elect Officers, Auditors, to confirm the nomination of Committee Represent– atives by the Clubs, to receive a report and balance sheet, to consider any other proposals affecting the League of which due and proper notice has been given, 6, ME1v!BERSHIP; Clubs desiring admission to the League must apply to the Secretary before the 31st Octobe~. An Entrance Fee of One Guinea must be enclosed and applications will be considered at the Annual General Meeting. No Club shall be admitted to membership unless its ground, dressing accommodationand appointments are of a satisfactory standard, and have been certified soby the Committee, Any Club in membership of the League whose ground, dressing accommodation and appointments are allowed to deteriorate shall be subject to an inspection by the Committee, The Committee shall be empowered to consider the matter a nd request the Club concerned to carry out such remedial measures as appear necessary, In the event of no satisfactory improvement being made the matter shall be reported to the Annual General Meeting, 7. SUBSCRIPTIONS, The Annual Subscription shall be Three Guineas and shall be paid seven days before the Annual General Meeting, 8. VOTING, Officials and each Club Representative shall have one vote only. The Chairman shall have a casting vote, 9. ARRANGEMENTS OF FIXTURES. Fixtures for the season to be made by the League Officials. The matter will be reviewed at the Annual General Meeting, 10, PLAYERS. Clubs must register with the Hon. Secretary all playing members each year before commencement of the season. Additional registrations can be effected, applications to be forwarded to the Hon. Secretary. 11 • TRANSFER OF PLAYERS, No Affiliated League Club, either through its Officials or any person or society interested in the Club shall approach during the current playing season, any player of any other Affiliated League Club for the purpose of securing his services at any time without first giving seven days notice of their intention to negotiate, This notice must be given to the Secretary of the players' Club in writing and by registered post. No player shall negotiate with any other League Club unless he can produce an official permission from his present Club, Such permission shall not be withheld unless the player has failed to fulfil all his financial obligations to his Club, The player shall have the right to appeal to the Committee if permission is withheld without just cause, A Transfer Fee of 2/- is payable to the League Secretary at time of transfer, 35
