GRIMSBY & DISTRICT CRICKET RULES-c(:nued 26. RULES GOVERNING PLAY. All games to be governed by the General Rules of the M.C.C. except where certain rules are not adopted. 27. ALTERATION OF RULES. Any suggested alteration of rules by Clubs shall be proposed by one Club and seconded by another Club, both Clubs to send suggested alteration to the League Secretary by the 31 st October each year, and such suggested alteration to be circu lated amongst the Clubs to allow at least fourteen days' notice before the Annual General Meetings. 28. ARREARS. A Club in arrears at the time of the Annual General Meeting of the League shall have no voice or vote on any matter. The League shall hold all members of such Club responsible for the debt and no member of the Club will be allowed to transfer to any other League Club until he can prove to the League Committee that he has paid his liabi lities to the Club in arrears. 29. TEAMS USING CORPORATION GROUNDS. All teams using the Corporation Recreation Grounds shall pay a deposit of 40/- in addition to the League Deposit (see rule 8). They must also pay al l dues for use of the ground to the League on demand. The Corporation Groundsman shall be the sole judge of the fitness of the Corporation Recreation Grounds for play. 30. EXTRA RULES. The Committee shall have power to deal with any matter which may arise affecting the League which is not provided for in these rules. LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET LEAGUE 1. NAME. The League shal l be known as " The Lincolnshire County Cricket League". 2. OFFICIALS. The Officers shal l consist of a President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary. These shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting. 3. COMMITTEE. The Committee to transact the business of the League shall consist of the Officers of the League together with one representative from each Club consistituting the League whose nomination shall be forwarded by each Club to the League Secretary prior to the Annual General Meeting for confirmation at that meeting . In the event of the nominated representative not being available a deputy may be appointed . Six representatives shall form a quorum. 4. COMMITTEE MEETINGS. The Committee shall meet at any time as the business of the League may require. Seven days' notice of all meetings shall be sent by post to al l Officers and Club Representatives. Clubs not attending meetings shall be fined 5/ - for each offence. 5. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. The Annual General Meeting shal l be held before the 31 st January each year. The business shall be to elect Officers, Auditors, to confirm the nomination of Committee Representatives by the Clubs, to receive a report and balance sheet, to consider any other proposals affecting the League of which due and proper notice has bPen given . 6. MEMBERSHIP. Clubs desiring admission to the League must apply to the Secretary before the 31 st October. An Entrance Fee of One Guinea must be enclosed and applicat ions wil l be cons idered at the Annual General Meeting. No Club shall be admitted to membership unless its ground , dressing accommodation and appointments are of a satisfactory standard , and have been certified so by the Committee. Any Club in membership of the League whose ground, dressing accommodation and appointments are allowed to deteriorate shall be subject to an inspection by the Comm ittee. The 30
