27. Promotion and Relegation This will be on a two up, two down basis between the divisions. Promotion ( 1 o second eleven will be eligible for promotion to a higher division 'if the flrst -Eleven is in this division or is due for relegation to this division. No team finishing lower than third position in its League will be granted promotion. Relegation A club First Eleven which is relegated to a lower division also deems that the Second Eleven will also be relegated if the Second Eleven is in a division immedi– ately below the .first Eleven irrespective of its finishing position in that division unless the Second Eleven qualifies for promotion in which case both teams would remain static. Should the occasion arise where none or only one of the first three teams ·in a division can be promoted , then similarly none or only one of the teams in the division above will be relegated.
