THE GEORGE MARSHALL TROPHY 1. OVERS. <Each team shall be allowed 45-6 ball overs batting or until the batting side is dismissed. 2. A maximum of 10 overs per bowler is allowed. 3. Each competing team will supply its own ball and shall bowl with it. I 4. UMPlrRES. The Umpires shall be tincolnshire League Umpires and shall be paid the current, fee. plus travelling expenses. · .. ·1 5. ,LATE STAiRT. No. match: shaJI start ,aft.er .,4:30 ·p.'m.– and if the start of a match is delaye-d the Captains will decide on a proportionate number of overs in relation to the time left up to 7.30 p.m. ·in the case of a 2 p.m. start, or 8 p.m. in the case of a 2.30 p.m. start. 6. TIE. In the event of a tie the result will be decided in favour of the side losing ,the least number of l'!ickets. If both sides have lost the same number of wickets the result will be decided on the higher rate of scoring ·in the first 20 overs of each ,innings. In the event of both sides being all out in or under 45 overs, the overall scoring rate of both sides will be the deciding factor. 7. UNFINl•SHED 'REPLAY. If a replay remains un– finished the winner will be the side which has scored the faster runs per over throughout the innings pro– vided that at least 20 overs have been bowled at the side batting second. If the scoring rate is the same the side losing -the least number of wickets in the first 20 overs of each innings will be the winner. If no decision is possible the result shall be decided by the toss of a coin, except the Final. 8. SCORE SHEETS. A duplicate copy of the score sheets of each match will be sent by each Team to the ' 0 <>nue 1 Secret~ry to reach him not later than two days
