LIncolnshire County Cricket League Handbook 1972

Dear Members, Once again another Cricket Season is upon us, and I am writing to convey to all members my wishes for another wonderful season, with good weather, good keen competition, and a sincere hope that all players will produce attractive cricket, and to endeavour to have an attitude to create games with results. Not only will you be providing attractive entertain– ment for those participating, but also vitally important, the spectator. The League have a record second to none in the country and have produced, and are pro– ducing Cricketers who could hold their places in any leag ue side in the country. Let us hope for further success in the League Cricket Conference Competition this coming season. My best wishes to all Players, Officials and to all who support this wonderful game.
