Lincolnshire County Cricket League Handbook 1975

No second eleven will be eligible for promotion to a higher division if the first eleven is in this division or is due for relegation to this division. No team finishing lower than third position in its division will be granted promotion. A Club first eleven which is relegated to a lower division also deems that the second eleven will be relegated if the second eleven is in the division immediately below the first eleven, irrespective of its finishing position in that division, unless the second eleven qualifies for promotion, in which case, both teams will remain static. Should the occasion arise where none or only one of the first three teams in a division can be promoted, then similarly, none or only one of the teams in the division above will be relegated. The bottom two clubs in Division 3 shall apply for re– election to the League, together with any new applicants, at the time of the A.G.M. If the first eleven of a Club with a second eleven in Division 3 is relegated to Division 3, then the Club's second eleven shall be removed from the League. Triple tie: should three Clubs finish level for promotion or relegation, the winner shall be: (i) The team with the most wins. (ii) If equal, the team with the most winning draws. (iii) Any situation not covered by these arrangements will be decided by the Officers of the League. 8. GENERAL Extra Rules The Committee shall have the power to deal with any matter which may arise affecting the League which is not provided for in these Rules. 15
