Should the team batting be not all out when time is called, the result shall be a draw. Method of Scoring Points a) Ten points for an outright win. b) In a drawn game, the maximum number of points allocated shall be ten. c) The team batting first shall be awarded seven points and the team batting second three points if the latter score seventy-five per cent or more of their opponents total in a drawn game. d) The team batting first shall be awarded nine points and the team batting second one point if the latter do not score seventy– five per cent of their opponents total in a drawn game. e) No points for a defeat. f) Five points for each team in a tie. No points shall be allowed for a match which cannot be played or completed due to adverse weather conditions. The League Championships shall be decided on a percentage basis, calculated on the number of completed matches. Personal performances in uncompleted matches shall count in players averages. Cancellation of Matches because of Bad Weather a) No match shall be cancelled before 11 am. on the day of the match unless authority is obtained from the League Secretary. b) After 11 am. and up to 6 pm. the match shall not be cancelled without the consent of both Captains. c) After 6 pm. the match may be cancelled if both Captains agree, or, failing that, by decision of the umpires.
