GEORGE MARSHALL K.O. TROPHY RULES 1. All Lines. County Cricket League members are automatically entered. 2. An entrance fee of S0p. will be charged. 3. The Laws of Cricket shall apply except where otherwise stated. 4. The Home team will be responsible for all match arrangements as follows: - (a) To arrange date of match with opposition by mutual agree– ment. At least three dates should be offered (one of which must be accepted). (b) To notify league fixture secretary of agreed dates. (c) To notify the local umpires association of the date (umpire fees to be the current fees agreed for the season in question). (d) To advise fixture secretary of the result within 72 hours. 5'. Matches upto and including the section finals may take one of the following two forms:- (a) Evening commencement at 6.30 p.m. of 20 x 6 ball overs per team. Maximum of 4 overs per bowler. (b) Day commencement at 2.30 p.m. of a maximum of 45 overs per team. Maximum of 9 overs per bowler or pro-rata if less overs agreed. 6. The semi-finals and final to be played as a day match as Sb) above. 7. In the event of late arrival, toss to be forfeited and opposition to have choice of innings. Abandoned matches to be replayed on the same ground. 8. The team scoring the greatest number of runs, irrespective of wickets lost, to be adjudged the winner. In the event of a tie the team losing the least wickets shall be adjudged the winner. If both teams have lost the same number of wickets then the game shall be replayed on the ground of the visiting team . 9. The captains shall be responsible for judging the fitness of the ground and light. In the event of disagreement the umpires shall decide. If the umpires disagree the match shall continue. 10.
