5.1 5.2 Reports on Umpires Both Club Captains shall submit a r~port on Umpires in the space prov i ded on the score sheet. A fine, as per Rule 9, shall be imposed for non-compliance. Payment of Umpires During the interval, Clubs shall pay the current League Fee for umpires, pl us any expenses incurred. The League Fee shall be decided at the AGM .. The payment sha l l be shared by both Clubs equally. If a match is cancelled and the umpires are not informed and turn up to officiate at the match, the umpires shall be paid half the current Fee plus any expenses incurred. In. the event of th~ umpires turning up and no play being poss i ble because of the weather they shall again be paid half the current Fee plus any expenses incurred. 6. PLAYING RULES 6.1 Laws M.C.C. Laws of Cricket apply, as recommended by the League Cricket Conference. NOTE The umpires are responsible for confirming the scores at the end of the match, but not during it. 6.2 Conditions of Play Time of starting shall be 2.30 p.m. unless otherwise agreed by the teams involved. Umpires shall be notified of any change in starting time. Games shall be of 100, 90, 80 or 70 six-ball overs duration, to be declared ~y the Captains before the match. Should a start not be possible before 4.30 p.m. because of the weather, then fewer overs (minimum of 50) may be played.
