GEORGE MARSHALL K.O. TROPHY RULES 1. All Lines. County Cricket League members are auto– matically entered. 2. The Laws of Cricket shall apply except where otherwise stated. 3. · The Home team will be responsible for all match arrangements as follows: (a) To arrange date of match with opposition by mutual agreement. Atleast three dates should be offered (one of which must be accepted). (b) To notify league fixture secretary of agreed dates. (c) To notify the local umpires association of the date (umpire fees ~be the current . fees agreed for the season in question). (d) To advise fixture secretary of the result within 72 hours. ij_ For 1982 all matches to consist of 20 x 6 ball overs per team. 5. The semi-finals and final to be played on Sunday 22nd August, 1982 on Grimsby Town and Cromwell-Drewery grounds. 6. In the event of late arrival, toss to be forfeited a~d oppos ition to have choice of innings. Abandoned matches to be replayed on the same ground. 7- The team scoring the greatest number of runs, irrespective of wickets lost, to be adjudged the winner. In the event of the scores being level the team losing the least wickets shall be adjudged the winner. If both teams ~ave lost the same number of wickets then the game shall be replayed on the ground of the visiting team. - 26 -
