GEORGE MARSII/\Ll. K.O. TROPHY RULES 1. All Lines . County Cricket Lea~1e members are auto– matically entered. 2. The Laws of Cricket shall apply except where otherwise stated. 3. The Home team will be responsible for all match arran~ements as follows: (a) To arrange date of match with opposition by mutual agreement. Atleast three dates should be offered (one of which must be accepted). (b) To notify league fixture secretary Qf agreed dates. (c) To notify the local umpires association of th date (umpire fees to be the current fees agre for the season in question). (d) . To advise fixture secretary of the result within 72 hours. ~- For 1984 all matches to consist of 20 x 6 ball overs per team. Max i mum of 4 overs per bowler 5 . The semi-finals and final to be played on Sunday 19th August 1984 on Grimsby Town and Drewery Sports grounds. 6. In the event of late arrival, toss to be forfeited a~d opposition to have choice of innings . Abandoned matches to be replayed on the same ground. 7 . The team scoring the greatest number of runs , irrespective of wickets lost, to be adjudged the winner. In the event of t he scoreo being level the team losing the least wickets shall be adjudged the winner. If both teams ~ave lost the same number of wickets then the game shall be replayed on the ground of the visiti ng team. -26-
