J 6.3 Length of Innings (continued) If the side batting first is dismissed, or the captain declares, before the end of its allotted overs, then the side batting second shall have the remaining number of unused complete overs added to its allotted numbers. 6.4 Cancelled Games 6.5 No match shall be cancelled due to weather conditions prior to 10 a.m. on the day of the match. If the home team deems it advisable to cancel the fixture, a nominated representative from the home club shall contact a nominated representative of the visiting club and seek his agreement to the game being cancelled . Unless mutual agreement to cancel is obtained, arrangements for the fixture to take place will continue. Each club will nominate 3 representatives in a priority order, who are contactable on the telephone, and these names and telephone numbers will be printed in the handbook. If a fixture is cancelled, it may be re– arranged by mutual agreement of the two clubs involved, providing the scoresheet is endorsed 'fixture to be re-arranged' and the date ~upplied by both clubs to the League Fixture Secretary within 7 days of the original fixture. If the fixture is not to be re-arranged the scoresheet should be endorsed 'no result' . Start Delayed Due to Bad Weather The captains can mutually agree to cancel a fixture if they are both on the ground, but in any case, no match shall start any later than 3 hours after the original start time. - 27 -
