4. PLAYERS 4.1 Registration A player shall be considered registered with the club for which he plays his first League match of the season . 4.2 Transfer of Players 5 UMPIRES Neutral 5.1 5.2 No league club, either through its officers, or any person interested in the club, shall approach during the current playing season any player of any other League club for the purposes of securing his services at any time wi thout first giving seven days notice of their intention to negotiate. This notice must be given in writing to the Secretary of the player's current club. No player shall negotiate with any other League club unless he has fulfilled all his financial obligations to his current club. The player's new Club shall write to the League Secretary with a copy to the current Club, requesting the transfer. The letter shall include the signature of the player and an official of the new Club. The current Club must contact the Leagye Secretary within 7 days, if they have any objection. No player shall play for his new Club until cleared by the League Secretary. A fee, as per Rule 8, shall be paid by the player. umpires shall officiate at all matches. Reports on Umpires Both club captains shall mark both umpires in the space provided on the scoresheet. A fine, as per Rule 8, shall be imposed for non-compliance. Payment of Umpires During the interval, clubs shall pay the current League Fee for umpires, plus any expenses incurred. The League Fee shall be decided at the AGM. The payment shall be shared by both clubs equally. - 20 -
