WINTRINGHAM LINCOLNSHIRE LEAGUE K.O. COMPETITION FOR THE G MARSHALL TROPHY - RULES 1. All Wintringham Lincolnshire County Cricket League Clubs are automatically entered. 2. The Laws of cricket shall apply, except where stated otherwise. 3. Each player must be a bonafide member of that club. No player shall play for two competing clubs in this competition in the same season. 4. If there are more than 32 competing clubs, then a preliminary round draw will be made from the teams from Divisions 1, 2 and 3. 5. The home side shall offer 3 dates to the visiting side, to include at least one Sunday before the closing date of the round. The visiting side shall accept one of these dates, otherwise they shall forfeit the match. 6. Day matches shall start at 2.30 p.m., except in April and August, when the start shall be 2 p.m. A match shall consist of 45 overs per side, with the side scoring the most runs deemed the winner. 7. If the start is delayed, the Captains shall agree to play a reduced number of overs as detailed. No match shall start after 3 hours from the original start time.
