5.2 Payment of Umpires During the interval, clubs shall pay the current League fee fo umpires, plus any expenses incurred. The League fee shall be decided at t e A.G .M. The payment shall be shared by both clubs equally. If a match i cancelled and the umpires are not informed and turn up to of f iciate at the mat h, the umpires shall be paid half the current f ee plus any expenses incurred. In the event of the umpires turning up and no play being possible because of the w eather they shall again be paid half the current fee plus any expenses incurred. 6 . RULES OF MATCH PLAY 6.1 Conduct of Matches Matches shall be conducted in accordance w ith the M.C.C. aws of Cricket governing one-day matches, as recommended by the Leagu Cricket Con– f erence, except for matters provided for in these Rules. 6 .2 Match Start Times and Duration All matches shall be of 90 overs duration. M atches shall start at 2 .30 p.m . in the months of May, June and July; at 2 p.m .. in the mont s of April and August; at 1.30 p.m. in the month of September. 6.3 Length of Innings In an uninterrupted mat ch the first team shal l not bat more than half of the 90, 6-ball overs. The innings shall then be closed. If the side batting first is dismissed, or the captain declares, before the end of its allotted overs, t hen the si de batting second shall have the rema ining number of umused comp lete overs added to its allotted numbers. 6.4 Cancelled Games No match shall be cancelled due to w eather condit ions prior to 10 a.m. on the day of the match. If the home team deems it advisable to ca~cel the fixture, a nominated representative from the home club shall contaft a nominated representative of the visiting club and seek his agreement to he game being cancelled. Unless mutual agreement to cancel is obtained, a rangements for the fixture to take place will continue. Each club will nomin te three repre– sentatives in a priority order, who are contactable on the telep~one, and these names and telephone numbers will be printed in t he handboolL No cancel led fi xtures shall be re-arranged. The scoresheet should be sen to the Fixture Secretary st ating " No Result". 6.5 Start Delayed Due to Bad Weather The captains can mutually agree to cancel a fixture if they re both on the ground, but in any case, no match shall start any later than t ~ree hours af ter the original start time. If the start of play is delayed for less t ~an 30 minutes, then the full 90 over match shall be played. If the start of play is delayed for 30 m inutes or more, then overs shall be deducted from t e total for the match according to the following table: Start Time Delay (mins.)
