6.6 Match intenupted by the weather a) If amatch is interrupted by inclement weather the pitch shall be covered wicket to wicket. b) Amatch can be abandoned before the scheduled finishing time by mutual agreement of the two captains. Personal performances in uncompleted games shall count in the players' averages. c) If the interruptions total 30 minutes or more then play shall cease 5hrs 30mins (Premier) and 5hrs (for the other divisions) plus one hour or 20 overs whichever is the longer, after the scheduled time of starting (or if sooner at the end of the permitted overs) but the innings of the side batting first shall not exceed half the permitted overs. Aminimum of 20 overs shall be bowled in the last hour of play. 6.7 Match Results The home club in League and Cup matches (and the winning team in Cup Finals) must enter theFULL scorecard summary on the League Play website by 23:59 on the day of the game including:- • The result • Runs scored, wickets lost and number of overs batted for each innings • Umpires Names • Notable performances In addition to the above, the home team (and the winning team in Cup Finals) must enter the complete scorecard on the Leagues' Play Cricket Website by 23:59 on the day following the game.The information must includeall of the following :- • Names of all players taking part • Batsmen's scores • Method of dismissal • Catches taken • Full bowling analysis • Wicket Keepers • Captains The away team in all league and cup matches (and the losing team in Cup Finals) must carefully check and then confirm online that all of the information entered on the Play Cricket website by the home team is correct no later than 23:59 two days after the game. This will result in completed and confirmed scorecards being available on Play Cricket on, at the latest, Tuesday for a Saturday game, Wednesday for aSunday game and Thursday for a Monday game. Failure of either side to comply with these requirements will leave them liable to a fine as per rule 8.1 When inputting, checking or confirming scorecards on Play Cricket, clubs shall appraise the Results Secretary, or another League Officer, of any instances (i.e. listed as UNSURE). The League will then investigatethe matter and act accordingly. Under age players not able to bat or bowl should not be included on the team sheet on Play Cricket but should be named in the comments box. 6.8 Late Starts Both teams shall be ready to start the match at the prescribed time, as detailed in6.2.The Umpire(s) shall note that the game started late without justifiable cause and tell the home team so that the time of start can be recorded with the match details on Play Cricket. 6.9 General Points a) All matches shall be played on grass pitches unless approved by the Executive Committee. b) All matches shall use aSTANDARD cricket ball. The manufacturer and type shall be approved and agreed by the League at the AGM. All cricket balls are to be purchased through the League and branded as Lincolnshire County Cricket League. Eachteam shall provide the Umpires with no more than 2 match balls prior to the commencement of each innings, it is not compulsory to provide or use a new ball. The Umpires may disallow or refuse a ball to be used, if decided that a ball is dangerous or gives an unfair advantage to either side. Afine as per rule 8.1 shall apply for non-compliance. c) All matches will adhereto the ECB directive of limiting overs for young bowlers under the age of 19. d) All matches will adhere to the ECB directive of fielding regulations for young players. 108
