PLAYERS REGISTRATIONS Clubs should ensure they keep their Play Cricket players' list up to date AT ALL TIMES.. Please make regular checks and DELETE any players who have retired or moved elsewhere to play. It is vitally important to register all your players, particularly your youngsters. There have been many instances of "Unsure" players appearing on scorecards who turned out to be regulars in the U15s or U17s but who clubs chose not to register at the start of the season. It's good practice to register ALL your junior club members as players when you input the sen iors. The same applies to veteran members/club officials you might call upon a few times during the season. Do not presume that because they played years ago this offers some special exemption on Play Cricket. It does not. They still need to be on the club's active list. By keep ing club databases up to date we can avoid many "Unsure" players appearing on scorecards and delaying completion of match details. 114
