Lincolnshire County Cricket League Cup Rules All cup competitions (Gc:·:,:0"' .;,:,rs'- c ,' - ·: :• 0 Bcb \f✓e!tcn Cup & Supplementary Cup) 1. The laws of Cricket shall apply except where stated otherwise. 2. The teams competing in the George Marshall Trophy,Bob Welton Cup & Supplementary Cup shall be put forward by the LCCL committee at the league AGM for the approval of member clubs with a limit of 1 team per club in each competition. 3. , .. -.. : " ·,. n ·. & Bob We1ton Cup shall be played on a knockout basis. The Supplementary Cup shall be played on a group basis with teams playing each other once in the group stages. The winners from each group will advance into the semi finals. In the group stages the following points will be awarded: 5 points for a win 2 points per team in a tied game 1 point if the game is cancelled. The group winners will be determined by the team that gains the post points. In the event of two teams finishing level on points, then thewinner of the head to head between the tw teams will go through. In the event that three teams finish level on points then the following will be used: a. Wickets taken throughout the competition b. Runs scored throughout the competition c. Maidens bowled throughout the competition 4. The dates for each round of the cup competitions shall be included in the fixtures for the season by the fixture secretary. 5. All cup matches shall be a maximum of 40 overs per innings. Minimum of 15 overs per innings). A bowler may bowl no more than a fifth of the allocated overs (rounded down) ALL cup matches shall commence at 13:00 All sides are expected to be in position to bowl the first ball of the last of their 40 overs within 2 hours 40 minutes playing time (including time taken for drinks). 6. See appendix 1 8. The league rule in regards to strengthening a side to the detriment of the opposition will apply in ALL competitions. 9.
