In a game that is affected by rain, if the team batting second has received 50% of their allocated overs.then the result will be determined by their run rate in comparison to the overall run rate of the team batting first. c) In the event of a tied match or a match that is unable to be completed due to weather the winner will be decided as follows: i) A Super over, If possible with the team scoring the most runs being declared the winner. If the super over is a tie then the result will be the team that has lost the fewest wickets in the super over. If a winner can still not be found then the super over will be replayed until a result Is achieved. If the batting side loses two wickets in the super over then the over is declared finished. ii) A bowl out, if possible, consisting of 5 players per team bowling two balls alternatively. If there Is still no positive result, then sudden death wlll apply with the same five bowlers bowling one ball each in the same order until a positive result is achieved. iii) The toss of a coin 1D. All games shall be played on the ground of the first drawn team unless both teams agree to an alternative venue. All venue changes MUST gain league approval. 11. The result and details of the game shall be entered into play cricket by the home team (Winning side in the final) as per league rules. The away side (Runners up in the final) shall also confirm as per league rule. 12. Any club failing to fulfil a fixture shall be fined as per league rule 8.1 and the fixture awarded to their opponents.Clubs fielding more than 1 side shall be expected to give precedence to the higher team. 13. The venues for all cup finals will be decided by the LCCL management committee. Balls, Teas and umpires' costs shall be paid by the LCCL. Appendix 1: 6.3 Free Hit after a No Ball 6.3.1 The delivery following a no ball shall be a free hit for whichever batter is facing it. Note: this applies to all modes of No ball with the exception of a short-pitched delivery that passes or would have passed clearly over head-height of the striker standing upright at the popping crease. 6.3.2 If the delivery for the free hit is not a legitimate delivery (any kind of no ball or a wide ball), then the next delivery shall become a free hit for whichever batter is facing it. 6.3.3 For any free hit, the striker can be dismissed only under the circumstances that apply for a no ball, even it the delivery for the free hit is called a wide ball. 6.3.4 Field changes are not permitted for free hit deliveries unless there is a change of striker or the No Ball was the result of a field restriction breach in which case the field may be changed to the extent of correcting the breach. However, in all circumstances, any fielder within 15 yards of the striker may retreat to a position on the same line no more than 15 yards from the striker. 6.3.5 The umpires shall signal a free hit by (after the normal no ball signal) extending one arm straight upwards and moving it in a circular motion. 75
