16 may not bowl their full 10 over allocation in one spell. To meet the requirement of young player of the year awards players must be under the age of 18 before August 31 st of that season 8. Loaning of Players A player may be loaned to one other club during the season for no more than 50% of the games. The captajn must make the opposition captain and umpire aware during the handing ofteam cards that he is playing a loaned player. The loaned player will be able to batt, bowl or keep wicket. Any batting or bowling performances by a loaned player for his loaned club will not be considered as part of end of season averages. Loaned players will not be allowed in cup matches. Clubs must try to not use loan players to gain an advantage in a game. If an opposition captain feels this has taken place, then he must make a league official aware within 24 hours of the game completing and the league will investigate the matter. 9. Fixtures Oubs will play each team in their division as per the format decided at the previousAGM. Clubs will be fined £25 for failure to fulfil a fixture unless, in Investigating, the emergency committee discovers that all reasonable attempts were made for the fixture to take place. Flxtures will be given to all clubs by the fixture secretary no laterthan 1 st February. Clubs can rearrange any game so long as both clubs agree, and the league Is Informed of the new match day. Games should be played on Sundays unless for exceptional circumstances. Promotion and relegation will be defaulted to 2 promoted and 2 relegated from each division but this will be decided on when the season format is decided at the AGM. In the event of 2 teams being on equal number of points at the end of the season a play off may be arranged to determine the champions.This is at the discretion of the emergency committee. If a playoff is not possible then the champions will be decided in the following order- Number of wins, Most runs scored, Most wickets taken. 10. Cancellation of matches Teams must understand that unless they are officially informed by the umpire, or the two captains have both agreed that further play is impossible they MUST be prepared to resume play when conditions allow. When, ln the opinion of the home secretary, that the home ground is unfit for play, the home team can contact the away gameday contact and upon agreeing cancellation of the game the league fixture secretary must be informed. lfthere is no agreement on the cancellation between the two teams then the game will be considered ON and the decision will rest with the umpire. If no umpire is standing in the game, then the decision will be made by a league official. When a club has a permanent groundsman THEIR decision on the state of the ground must be accepted as final. Texting an opposition captain with no reply is not an acceptable method of cancelling a game and a game is only considered cancelled once representatives from both clubs, the league fixture secretary and the umpire has been informed. Clubs should try to notify the oppostlion team by 10:00 of the day ofthe game if the game is going to be cancelled. Games cannot be cancelled due to the weather until the day of the game. Any club finding themselves unable to fulfil a fixture without letting all the people mentioned above known will be responsible for ALL expenses incurred as decided by the emergency committee 11 . Method Of Play Matches by default are-40, 6 ball, overs a side starting at 13:00. Toe method of play can be changed so long as both captains and umpire are in agreement prior to the toss. If there Is a change to format or start time agreed before the day ofthe game the umpire must be made aware. If all 3 partres are not in agreement that the match must be played under default conditions as stated above. Cup Games will be 30, 6 ball overs a side, starting at 13:00. The toss must take place at least 10 minutes before the designated start of the game. If one captain is not present that team forfeits their right to choose whether to bat or bowl. If the captain is not available, a nominated person can take his place at toss. All games will be played under the existing MCC laws of cricket Bowles will only be able to bowl 25% of the total overs in league games and 20% of the total overs in cup games. If the number is not a whole mrmber, the number of overs will be rounded down. The team scoring the most runs will be declared the winner and 3 points will be award. If there is a tie then both teams wlll receive 2 points and if game is not completed or not started then both teams will receive 1 point. If a team forfeits a game they will be docked 1 point and the opposing team will receive 3 points. 91
